Третий альбом английской инди-группы -The Wedding Present- под названием -Seamonsters- был создан в 1991 году, как и два предыдущих EP, Стивом Альбини в студии Pachyderm Studios в Кэннон Фоллс, штат Миннесота. Как и те релизы, "Seamonsters" имеет более жесткое и резкое звучание, чем первые альбомы группы. Возможно, именно этот звук стал тем моментом, который вызвал аплодисменты как поклонников, так и критиков этого альбома. Спустя всего несколько месяцев альбом считался классическим и вдохновил бесчисленное множество молодых групп

Под присмотром Дэвида Геджа этот альбом был ремастирован, теперь он отпечатан на 180-граммовом виниле и имеет новые внутренние втулки, сочетающиеся с оригинальным оформлением.

Виниловое переиздание на 2LP включает студийный альбом и бонусный LP с треками синглов/EP и Peel Sessions

Расширенное художественное оформление было создано оригинальным дизайнером Хитчем, а весь проект курировал лидер группы Дэвид Гедж.

Hatch Records are pleased to announce the release, on 21 February, of the fourth instalment in The Wedding Present’s popular ‘Marc Riley Sessions’ series. The Wedding Present are a band with a history that’s inextricably intertwined with the BBC and, in particular, the late DJ John Peel, an early champion of the band. An avid Wedding Present fan himself, Riley, with his team of producers, has formed a close bond with David Gedge and the band. He says: “The release of these Wedding Present sessions recorded for our 6 Music programme over the years is something of an honour. In the great tradition of the Peel / Selwood releases on the Strange Fruit label, this record proves that, even without John, the BBC can still be a place where great bands can continue to grow and be creative... amongst friends.” Having received critical acclaim for releases 1 - 3, Marc Riley Sessions Volume 4 goes on to feature nine songs recorded for the award-winning BBC 6 Music show in 2017 and 2018. The first four tracks on the album were recorded with a string quartet and trumpeter and include a remarkable re-imagining of ‘Bewitched’, originally from the band’s 1989 album Bizarro. This new version will be available as an ‘instant gratification’ track for any digital orders of the album.

Live 1992" takes the eleventh of THE WEDDING PRESENT's infamous "live tapes" - cassettes that the band sold at concerts and through their fanzine in the 80s & 90s - and pairs it with a previously unreleased live recording. The Wedding Present's "Live tapes" were unavailable anywhere else. Fans eagerly collected them and they became very rare. This is the sixth in the series of Scopitones' much-demanded and beautifully mastered CD re-releases - "Live 1992" includes mixing-desk recordings of Wedding Present concerts in The Netherlands and at Brixton Academy in London and contains 38 tracks.
