PACESHIFTERS - Waiting To Derail (Ltd. Edition Colored Vinyl)

The Paceshifters are back, after a large number of concerts at home and abroad, there is another new album three years after the release of the album' Breach'. And what for one. With the first single single "Draw a Blank", the band already made a new sound. Still nice and raw but more catchy. 
And then there is now the album,' Waiting to Derail', produced by Chris Smith of the Dandy Warhols. With more opener' Dead Eyes' you're right in the middle of the violence, delicious! This is not an album you sit down for, bouncing through the living room with your air guitar is what this album does to you. The link with the song' Someday' proves that it is not always bouncing, because in terms of construction the song is very reminiscent of the Nirvana hit' Heart-shaped Box'. The fact that the comparison with Nirvana is made is not so strange when you consider that last year the band paid an ode to Nirvana in Hedon Zwolle. With' Yearning Desire', the band is ready to give gas again, with the same energy that band has during a performance. Adore' takes the band back a little bit of gas and proves that it is able to survive on that level too. The grunge of the 90's has clearly influenced this band and you can hear that well on this record. And that's not at all bad, because now say secretly we all want to bounce through the living room with an air guitar.
