ARTEFUCKT - Manifest

On July 7, a new "Manifesto" of the German-German scene appears. This is the title of the debut album of the Rheinbergers by ARTEFUCKT, which loudly sounded their debut. Musically, the band ranks in a high-carat society - printy, flashy guitars, an expressive voice and frenzied melodies, ranging between punkrock and classical Germanrock, form the heart of the music of ARTEFUCKT. Here, the "Manifesto" tells quite personal stories beyond great egos and great polemics. Ten years ago, Frontman Andre Donay wrote a song and called it "Endless Spaces", along with a few tracks. Shortly thereafter, however, he bursts in and the computer with the song material is stolen - for Andre reason enough to hang the plan with the music first. However, the whole thing does not let him go and his song from then, "Endlose Räume", he can also remember. So he takes a heart a couple more years ago, is now reinventing the songwriting and calls ARTEFUCKT with some comrades in the life. From then on, everything takes its course - the band is discovered, signs a contract with Rookies & Kings / Soulfood Music and can make its debut on July 7th - accompanied by some major performances, including the Alpen Flair Festival in South Tyrol. "Endless Spaces" made it an album ten years after his birth and his spectacular abduction! But there are more personal stories, which are on the debut of the Niederrheiner again. "King of the World" describes a mountaineering experience, which singer Andre had only recently. "I've climbed a summit for the first time in my life," he says. "The Peitlerkofel in South Tyrol. As I stood there on the summit, all the overwhelming impressions that came in on a song were simply channeled into a song. To play this on the alpine flair, also with a view of the Peitlerkofel, will be something very special. " Just as spontaneously, the Rheinberger musician was overwhelmed as he gave ARTEFUCKT her name. "I went home after the party and suddenly this name was in my head," he says. "I knew at the same moment - that's it." If "Manifesto" appears on 7th July, one may indeed hold what is desired by Deutschrock, but the scene will definitely be richer by a fundamental, unadulterated unicum.
