His instructors include world-renowned artists such as Anoushka Shankar, Nitin Sawhney and Mulatu Astatke, with whom Keane has worked in close collaboration and who have supported him in building his deep musical foundation on which he is now developing his own musical vision. "Roamin" skillfully fuses jazz, Indian folk, African rhythms with classical elements and electronic sounds. The Londoner thus creates his own soundscapes of urban London - a melting pot of different global influences and genres, as lively and exciting as the Metrople itself. Jazz is at the heart of it all, but the album is alive with its vitality and diverse influences, as evidenced by the remarkable list of musicians involved.
