Pia Douwes presents her long-awaited SOLO CD After all this time (HitSquad Records) in Vienna, where her impressive world career began... Born in Amsterdam, she is one of the most successful musical stars in Europe and is regarded as an icon of her profession. During her 32 years of stage presence at the best houses in Europe and on Broadway, she sang well-known songs like I Dreamed a Dream" Les Misérables,"All That Jazz" Chicago and many more. as well as participating in 65 different albums and musical CD productions. However, her career began in Austria: After some musical courses with Susi Nicoletti and a dance education in London, she triumphed in the Vienna world premiere of ELISABETH (1992), where she sang for many years in front of a sold-out house and still coined the title role of ELISABETH. At the side of her partner Uwe Kroeger, blond angel of death, and the dream team around ELISABETH, above all Peter Weck, Harry Kupfer, Michael Kunze and Sylvester Levay, the first chapter of her long-standing musical success story was opened, which is closely connected with Vienna and the Austrian fans. With great joy and gratitude I can celebrate this premiere again in Vienna with all my first sponsors, friends and colleagues! 13 songs plus a unique bonus track were recorded in the MG-Sound Studios Vienna with a large orchestra by Koen Schoots. Pia sings all the songs in English.
