You heard right. A new solo album by deceased Ramones lead singer Joey Ramone proves you can’t keep a good man down. Joey who died in 2001, will be releasing his 2nd posthumous record entitled “…ya know?” on May 22nd. The 15 never-before-heard songs were culled from unreleased recordings and demos written and sung by Ramone during the last 15 years of his life. The Ramones are considered to be one of most important punk rock bands of all time, although their music included elements of pop, surf, bubblegum and plain old hard rock. Joey’s brother Mickey Leigh pulled the compilation together and enlisted the perfectly-suited Ed Stasium to produce.
