Limited edition of 2000 copies only of a 6 disc Box set that contains remastered "Best Of" double CD, and 4 discs of unreleased and rare tracks from NIKKI SUDDEN's early work with the seminal SWELL MAPS through THE JACOBITES to THE LAST BANDITS and includes a live performance in Dublin only weeks before his untimely death. Liner notes are by Mojo writer and author and musician Max Decharne with interviews with Peter Buck and Producer John Rivers. The 60 page book also contains mainly unseen photos. A replica of the fanzine What A Nice Way To Turn Seventeen is included written by original fanzine editor Chris Seventeen. Following the break-up of SWELL MAPS in 1980, NIKKI SUDDEN started a solo career, as well as releasing records with Dave Kusworth as THE JACOBITES. He collaborated with, among others, Mike Scott of THE WATERBOYS, Jeff Tweedy of WILCO, THE GOLDEN HORDE as THE LAST BANDITS, Mick Taylor of THE ROLLING STONES, Rowland S. Howard, Jeremy Gluck of THE BARRACUDAS, METROPHASE, Ian McLagan of SMALL FACES and THE FACES, members of R.E.M. and SONIC YOUTH.
