N'TOKO - Emirates

N'toko is an experimental Hip Hop artist and producer from Slovenia. He earned his first spurs as the frontman of a local Hip Hop collective called Moveknowledgement. N'toko was quickly known as a rapper through his technical skills and speed, and even won two national freestyle competitions. In addition to three Slovenian-language albums, he published several EPs in English, two of which were also released in Japan. These two discs have now reached cult status among underground hip hop fans and lovers of alternative music. At the same time N'toko played extensively in Europe and the USA, where he was a guest at various festivals (including Reeperbahn Festival, Glastonbury, Exit, Inmusic, Best Buy Theater NYC). Currently, N'toko is also politically active in Slovenia and has become a much-read columnist and author.
