Part II of the Elektronik saga by Pete Namlook & Material Object sees the 2 artists return to the Berlin studio where part 1 was recorded to continue the series. Continuing the live jam come studio album process from Elektronik I, Elektronik II takes things even further with 2 extended sessions. Cartesian: (parts I-III) Heady ambience surrounds the live krautrock influenced synth work from Namlook punctuated by heavily effected broken beat percussive work. Weaving in and out over nearly 45 minutes. Planular (part IV) slows things down while dubbing things up with a menacing bassdrum, eery dialog and haunting chords.
