VALENTINOS - Lookin' For Love

A 23-track compilation documenting the career of the five Womack siblings who recorded as the Valentinos and sang gospel as the Womack Brothers. Sam Cooke’s SAR Records released two 45s by the Womack Brothers and five by the Valentinos. This compilation adds two tracks first released on 1994’s “SAR Records Story” double CD, plus seven previously unreleased tracks. The most famous of the brothers, Bobby Womack, went on to have a long and distinguished solo career. He died earlier in 2014. The CD includes the original version of the Rolling Stones’ ‘It’s All Over Now’. All tracks produced by Sam Cooke. Record Label: Ace Recordings Style: Soul
