Petar Dundov will release his third album, Sailing Off The Grid. The LP will come out on Belgian imprint Music Man Records, which released Dundov's first two albums: 2008's Escapements and last year's Ideas From The Pond. The latter LP was described by RA's Daniel Petry as "unapologetically melodic techno ... full of detail and tiny motions." This new album was produced in Dundov's Neumatik studio in Zagreb, where he also works as a sound engineer. According to a press release, Sailing Off The Grid further showcases the producer's signature sound, and "invokes the spirit of classic ambient and synth-based music of decades gone by." Since the mid-'90s, Dundov has pushed a melodic and emotionally-charged style of techno that's made him one of Croatia's main electronic music exports. Though he's appeared on the likes of Cocoon and Tomorrow, Jeff Mills' label, for the past decade he's released his music exclusively through Belgium's Music Man Records. Ideas from the Pond comes three years after his first album, Escapements, and has all the hallmarks of Dundov's production style: soaring arpeggios, the occasional ambient track and a generally contemplative mood.
