First re-release ever since 1983. Same cover and artwork as the original. 180 grs. Vinyl. Limited to 500 copies. Los Violadores (The Rapists) were formed after Los Testiculos stopped to play, a seminal band from the argentinen punk scene. Stuka on bass and voice, Harry B on guitar and Sergio Gramatica on drums was the first line-up.During 1980 they started to play live shows in small and selected clubs and people started to pay attention on these rude boys playing chaotic music. In several gigs the police arrived to cancel the show with their guns on hands, the political situation was extremely hard due to the dictatorship. Also due to the existing censorship they used the term Los Voladores (The Rockets) in some of their first gigs. They had enemies: the military regime and the hippies...yes, the hippies. If also these hippies were behind the military's eyes, Los Violadores were always in fight with the usual old legends from the 70s as Seru Giran, Leon Gieco or also Spinetta Jade. These rude boys hated this people too.In 1983 they recorded their first LP, the hardest, loudest and dirtiest album recorded in Argentina ever with permission from V8 metalheads. In this recording the band had the classic line-up: Pil Trafa on voice, Stuka playing guitar, Robert "Polaco" Zelazeck on bass and Sergio Gramatica on drums.Titles as "Mirando la guerra por TV", "Guerra total", "Mujeres vengan a mí" or also "Viejos pateticos" (a song covered by the American band Los Crudos) were spits in the face of all the military regime, cops or society. After lots of horrible bootlegs, Beat Generation is proud to announce the first official ever re-release of this classic album, with same artwork and insert trying to capture the essence. Absolutely a must to have for everyone into southamerican and global punk Record Label: Beat Generation Style: Punk/Hardcore
