With a greatest hits album it’s the track listing that spells the difference between flop and success and while there are some choices that fans question (no Guitar Hero Hero?) this is a strong selection of the rapper’s songs and spans his whole career. ’Hot Topic Is Not Punk Rock’, ‘Hipster Girl’ and ‘Signing Emo’ are the standouts here with their effortless mixing of rap with a punk sound. With so many of his best tracks on here there’s something for everyone here provided you’re a fan of MC Lars because while he does what he does well it doesn’t detract from the fact that a lot of his material is very similar.
