Brooklyn’s PAS need little introduction, particularly if you make an initial judgement based on the album’s title. Expect the strange and be rewarded. PAS thrive, if not solely exist on the experimental and convention is abandoned when it comes to track structures and themes. But, it would be irresponsible to suggest that such avant-garde output isn't listenable. From the off, the odd loops, sound effects and noises are stimulating, deliberately designed to trigger a range of sensations both emotionally and physically. Some of the noises can be industrial or organic and as an art house installation, it’s incredibly effective.
