Necessary Mayhem's second release of 2012 is the monster 10 track Trilogy', with three of the label's finest riddims - Police In Helicopter, Joker Smoker, and Pirates - collected onto one plate, complete with VIP mixes and exclusive dubs. Police In Helicopter is one of the biggest riddims on the Necessary Mayhem label to date. Million Stylez leads the way with the title track olice In Helicopter' - his own personal take of the John Holt classic. Trilogy' boasts a new VIP Bass-Bin mix of Million's internationally renowned track as well as a new dub from Da Grynch. Then Dutch artist Ziggi Recardo brings on yet another huge dancehall track in retender' on this power-house of a riddim. The Joker Smoker riddim, which is certainly one for the ganja massive, is lead by Ziggi Recardo, with his track oker Smoker (Smoke In The Air)', after which Mr Williamz tells how in No Cigarette' that he would rather smoke the herb. Rounding off on this riddim is Da Grynch's oker Smoker Instrumental' dub. Finally comes the Pirates riddim, on which the Necessary Mayhem standard was set, with its booming bass lines and sound-killing lyrics. Champion Sound' was a groundbreaking idea that Da Grynch had of adding as many MCs on one track as possible - at the last count there were nine. The tune broke barriers between Europe and the USA; dubplates were cut for internationally renowned sound systems such as Mighty Crown, and VP Records added it to their Reggae Gold series. A new VIP cut can be found on this album featuring all of the artists, including Million Stylez, Mr Williamz, and YT. Also included is the massive eal Music' by YT, §.S.A.' by Brinsley Forde and Blackout Ja, as well as the requisite rawkus irates Dub' from Da Grynch Record Label: Necessarymayhem Style: Reggae
