Nicumo are about to release their second full length album. After releasing their debut full length album in 2013, Nicumo have gone from strength to strength with their Melancholic metal. This brand new album is titled “Storms Arise” and it will be out in July 2017 through Inverse Records. The first single "Death, Let Go" can already be heard on Spotify “Storms Arise” follows band’s well reviewed debut “The End of Silence” (2013, Inverse Records) and takes a step towards even more versatile scales of music and emotions. The album contains eleven tracks with unexpected rhythmic elements which will make your head banging, while the melancholic melodies forces you to rise your fist up in the air and cry. Versatile soundscapes mesmerize the listener and takes a hold until the last note. “Storms Arise” strengthens Nicumo’s position on northern metal scene, and gives it a timeless masterpiece to keep the scene alive. “Storms Arise” was recorded and mixed at Joshua Music -studios during 2016 by Olli Tainio from Lucky Punk Productions, who has worked as an mixing, recording and an assistant engineer in various projects such as Callisto, SAKIA and his own band Blind Architect. Classics on Karthago Records! Reissue of the album „Tricks Of A Trade“ by the Canadian Heavy Metal Band TOUCHDOWN on CD. Limited Edition of 500 copies (handnumbered), with certificate and hologram. One year after "Don't look down" the follow up "Tricks of a trade" was released via Woolfe Records. In 1985 the international Heavy Metal scene went into more heavyness, so the early 80s sound of "Tricks of a trade" maybe was a bit too late to catch the interest from a big audience. The high pitched vocals by Bob Moody, who replaced the equally strong Terry Kushner, were typically US-style, but musically TOUCHDOWN clearly was influenced by the European scene. If you listen to songs like "On the Run" or "Breakin Out" a touch of German or Scandinavian Metal is evident. Probably the best song on the album is "Pay the price" with a really great hook, but all in all the album is a fine example for well played Canadian melodic Metal with really outstanding vocals! Sadly "Tricks of a trade" was the last strike of the band. Luckily now you can listen to all the material the band made including rare bonus songs! Record Label: Karthago Records Style: Metal
