It is surely not the first time Cloven Hoof's legendary first album is being re-issued on vinyl. But the careful re-mastering by Patrick W. Engel and some astonishing extras will make it the ultimate edition of this eternal NWOBHM classic. Lee Payne has for the first granted full access to the original photo session for the record. "There will be lots of never seen before pictures included with the release, taken by David Peters at our original photo shoot at Brierley Hill Town Hall, deep in the heart of the West Midlands," explains Payne in more detail. "As I recall, we had a lot of fun playing along to the tracks live as he shot away. The music inspired us, so David thought it best to snap while we rocked out. Crazy days."

Blue vinyl! Once the band had gone their separate ways, Witter met up with drummer William Hayter and formed Bloodshot Eyes. This new outfit were in the studio by November 1983 and recorded five new songs. Sensing the potential for an album, Witter combined these recordings with a session Shader had put to tape in September 1982 and the result was 'On My Knees', an album issued under the Blooodshot Eyes' name and released on their own Flat Bee records in 1984. Extremely rare and highly collectable, 'On My Knees' has been missing in action for many years. This new release replicates the original LP, with new interviews with both Witter and Hayter together with rare and previously unseen photos and memorabilia.

Black Viper is a new metal outfit hailing from Oslo in Norway. The band started out as a solo project in late 2012/early 2013 when drummer Cato began to write some songs inspired by traditional heavy metal and speed metal that did not suit his other band Deathhammer. He takes over the story: "I recorded a couple of instrumental demo tracks in 2013 and also began recording an EP which didn't get finished, probably because I was moving to Oslo. When I moved there, I finally got a band together and we started to rehearse and recorded and released our demo "Storming With Vengeance" in 2016. Then we played a few gigs and started to record our debut album "Hellions Of Fire" which is now finished and due for release very soon. We also lost our bassist in the process of recording the album, but we quickly found a new one and are now ready to 'kill with power'!" "The album is pretty much a mix between heavy metal and speed metal (fast heavy metal anyway)", continues the drummer. "If anything, then "Hellions Of Fire" sounds a bit like the first Savage Grace album."
