After being fragmented for years, it appears that CHAOTIC REMAINS has finally found what makes them whole. The band went through a lot of lineup changes, trial and error to perfect their sound but they persevered and found what makes them CHAOTIC REMAINS. The band categorizes themselves as symphonic death metal. Being an aficionado of melodic death metal, I wasn’t sure what to expect when listening to CHAOTIC REMAINS, but holy fuck tits- I am glad I did. CHAOTIC REMAINS takes metal to a whole new level by exploring other metal components to work with. They have fused a beautiful combination and their hard work has paid off. “We Are Legion” is set to release on December 1st 2017 and one should definitely take a listen. The album is about the battle between Christianity and Satanism, which results in the fall and rise of Lucifer. So if you are into that sort of thing, this album is for you! I hate the fact that this album only has six tracks. I want to hear more! “We Are Legion” slams first with “Prophecy of the Fallen,” a track that is extremely fast paced, but it is melodic and the use of keyboards give the sound a nice finishing touch and then at 2:57 it shifts course, the keyboards accentuate the guitar squeals and brutal breakdown. Next is “Fate In the Abyss” which has a great melody while staying true to their death metal foundation and then in the middle of the song it turns into a heavier version of NIGHTWISH and I just love it. It is a head banger and the best track on the album. I really enjoyed “In Need of An Angel” has beautiful notes at first and has more an uplifting and inspiring rhythms that you would find in power metal and then keyboards create a nice atmosphere to the music. The melodic riffs, the brutal vocals, the dark, ominous synthesizers, the heavy breakdowns are all featured in this album, especially on the tracks; “The Fallen King,” “Dark Ascension” and “Baptised in Ash.” Overall, I think it is great that despite the various changes in the band, they were able to find their sound and produce an album that is truly a fine work of art. Denmark-based metal band Chiro (formerly known as Chiro Therium) issue their debut full-length studio album Tunnel on November 10th, 2017 through Mighty Music. The outing was recorded during March 2017 with producer Marco Angioni at Death Island Studio in Nykøbing Mors. Marco Angioni also handled mixing and mastering duties. Formed in 1989, NO RETURN recorded its first album, 1990's "Psychological Torment", in Germany with CORONER drummer and Marky Marquis as art director. The band then produced the second album, 1992's "Contamination Rises", at Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Florida with the help of Scott Burns. Ever since, the band has kept on sharing its passion for music, performing alongside such bands as ARCH ENEMY, SAMAEL, NAPALM DEATH, SEPULTURA, CORONER, MOTÖRHEAD and many others, all while regularly releasing new albums. Two of Denmarks very best rock guitarists, Soren Andersen and Mika Vandborg, better known as Electric Guitars, are back with their second album String Fever and a new video. It's hard to tell if it's the fever that sets Electric Guitars on fire, or if it's the fire that gives Electric Guitars the fever. But one thing is certain, the two rock guitar slingers Soren Andersen (Glenn Hughes, Mike Tramp, D-A-D) and Mika Vandborg has teamed up again with Peter Kjøbsted on bass and Morten Hellborn on drums, and are ready to spread the string fever. Since the release of the first self-titled debut album, Electric Guitars has conquered the international rock-scene and crowd, by playing hundreds of venues and festivals. And everyone who has seen or heard the band live, knows that this is a pure hot rockin' guitar-celebration! "String Fever is a guitar-oriented rock album. Our fans and audience claimed that there weren’t enough guitars on our first album Electric Guitars' therefore we we've focused on doing way much more lead-guitar on our second album.
