ANEKDOTEN - A Time Of Day

A very round and homogeneous Art/Prog/Post-Rock album is the new one of anecdotes "Time of day".it offers mostly unembellished, relatively dynamic pieces with classical bass/guitar/drum instrumentation.the compositions have a typical Scandinavian tendency to melancholic dramaturgy. There are many haunting instrumental parts, which gain in value through the constant presence of a pleasant sounding melotron.what I have to criticize for my part here is the endeavored singing, which does not really convince me here in its timbre and phrasing.all in all a successful album.
