KACHOLI, ASSAF - Berlin-Tel Aviv

Assaf Kacholi is a lyric tenor, whose repertoire includes numerous genres and styles. Since 2001, Assaf has sung in many international opera productions, including works by Mozart, Handel and Telemann, which underlines his ability to master different national styles and performance practices from different eras. He has performed numerous concertos, including Mozart's "Requiem", Handel's "Messiah" and Haydn's "Creation", together with renowned international orchestras. Assaf's particular passion for song song allows him to show warmer and more intimate facets of his voice, such as in his interpretations of Schumann's "poet's love" or Weill's "Seven Deadly Sins". Since 2007, Assaf has sung to the classic crossover vocal ensemble Adoro, which is distributed by Universal Music. Adoros's numerous achievements include four best-selling events in Germany and Austria as well as an unforgettable performance at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Assaf holds a degree in singing and performing arts (B.Mus.) From the Rubin Music Academy in Tel Aviv. Since 2002 he has studied singing with Prof. Scot Weir, Kumiko Okabo-Bohrmann, and most recently with the tenor Jeffrey Francis Record Label: Springstoff Style: Pop
