Prior to his legendary tours with The Yardbirds and The Animals, even before the Checker singles that helped set off the British blues craze of the early 0s, Mississippi blues singer and harmonica player Sonny Boy Williamson (nee Alex Miller) cut his teeth recording these classic sides for the Jackson, MS based Trumpet Records.
