Thrudvangar has been an important part of German Viking Metal for almost 20 years. Thrudvangar returns to her melodic roots with her sixth album and returns to the trademarks of Viking Metal: powerful riffs, catchy melodies and terrific choirs take listeners on a journey to the ancient myths and legends of the vikings. The texts refer to norse mythology, but also to historical events as well as legends of the Vikings. Thrudvangar play traditional Viking Metal, which is characterized by the use of elements of Black Metal and Pagan Metal.
