Austin, Texas rockers...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead will celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band with their 10th studio album titled "X: The Godless Void and Other Stories" on January 17, 2020 via Dine Alone Records. The new LP marks their first new release in 6 years and was produced by Charles Godfrey (Sinkane, of Montreal, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and the band’s Conrad Keely. The new album will consist of 12 new songs which Keely says details “the sadness of moving away from a place that I loved.” Musically, Keely said, “I feel like I’m writing pop music… it’s just not Top 20 pop. It’s the pop music I wish was on the radio, the pop music I would’ve grown up with.” …Trail of Dead also cited Talk Talk and Laurie Anderson as influences for the new album.
