Можно сказать, что это его второй дом: лондонский Royal Albert Hall. Легенда блюз-рока Эрик Клэптон дал здесь не менее 200 концертов, первый из которых состоялся 7 декабря 1967 года в составе группы Yardbirds. С тех пор в знаменитом концертном зале состоялось множество легендарных выступлений, в том числе концерт памяти Джорджа Харрисона в 2002 году или "Концерт воссоединения группы Cream" в оригинальном составе в 2005 году.

Неудивительно, что по случаю своего 70-летия певец и гитарист вновь вернулся сюда, дав семь концертов в период с 14 по 23 мая 2015 г. Теперь доступен бест-офф его программы - "Slowhand At 70 - Live At The Royal Albert Hall".

Вместе со своей группой, состоящей из певца, гитариста, клавишника и бывшего участника группы Mike & the Mechanics Пола Каррака, барабанщика Стива Гэдда, басиста Fourplay Натана Иста, клавишника Криса Стентона и певиц Шарон Уайт и Мишель Джон, трехкратный член Зала славы рок-н-ролла разогрел публику.

Помимо классических блюзовых композиций, Клэптон и его группа исполнили многие из своих лучших хитов, включая "Crossroads", "Tears In Heaven", "I Shot The Sheriff", "Cocaine" и "Layla".

На альбоме "Slowhand At 70 - Live At The Royal Albert Hall" они записали для потомков 18 песен из этой программы, причем в самых разных форматах. Альбом доступен в виде DVD или Blu-ray, двойного CD с DVD, LP или набора из трех пластинок плюс DVD.

Nugent has released more than 34 albums and has sold a career total of 30 million records. He was known throughout his early career in the 1970s for using Fender amps, a large part of his signature sound, and for playing the hollow-body Gibson Byrdland guitar. American musician, singer, songwriter from metropolitan Detroit, Michigan. Ted Nugent initially gained fame as the lead guitarist of The Amboy Dukes before embarking on a solo career. Intensities in 10 Cities is his second live album released in 1981 and consisting of ten songs recorded supposedly during the last ten dates of Nugent's 1980 tour. All of the songs were new and had never appeared on any previous Ted Nugent album. Nugent explained at the time that about twenty new songs were played at the beginning of the tour, and at the end the best ten were recorded live rather than in the studio later.
