It is the last album of the group with Peter Green before he left the band and the first with Danny Kirwan, who was to stay until 1972. Oh Well' was the successful single that, although not on the album, would contribute to the continued popularity of Fleetwood Mac. The band took the success with them on a short tour of Finland, during which this gig was recorded in Helsinki. The LP comes as 180 Gr. and Dark Green Colored!

With the record the band veered away from the stylised sound that Lindsay Buckingham - who had left the band in 1998 - had evolved during his tenure and developed a more adult contemporary style with producer Greg Ladanyi. The album yielded one Top 40 hit, McVie's ‘Save Me’. Behind the Mask achieved Gold album status in the US, peaking at No.18 on the Billboard album chart, though it entered the UK Albums Chart at No. 1. It received mixed reviews, but Rolling Stone magazine said that new members Rick Vito and Billy Burnette were ‘the best thing to ever happen to Fleetwood Mac’ and Q magazine praised the album. The subsequent ‘Behind the Mask’ tour saw the band play sold-out shows at London's Wembley Stadium. In the final show in Los Angeles, Buckingham joined the band on stage. The two women of the band, Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks, had decided that the tour would be their last (McVie's father had died during the tour), although both stated that they would still record with Fleetwood Mac. The band also played a sold-out show at Manchester’s Maine Road Stadium (home to Manchester City FC at the time) which was recorded for FM Radio Broadcast both in the UK and across the US, where it was synched live on a number of US Stations. Firebird is the brainchild of legendary UK guitarist Bill Steer (Carcass, Napalm Death), which explores areas he is most fond of, outside of death metal and heavy metal in general. The sound of Firebird is very pure and is heavily influenced by the forefathers of heavy rock and blues, dating back from the early 60s through to early 70s. Bill’s soulful vocals can be somewhat compared to Steve Marriot, at least in terms of expression, whilst his guitar playing is in a league of its own; truly one of the most under-estimated guitarists in the history of British rock. The band released this debut album back in 2000 on Rise Above records, the label ran by his old pal Lee Dorrian. The line up on this debut featured the explosive rhythm section of Leo Smee (Cathedral, Chrome Hoof etc) on bass and Ludwig Witt (Spiritual Beggars, Grand Magus etc) on drums. It received high critical acclaim from both classic rock purists and fans of his heavier work. Released for the first time on vinyl, Firebird will please Bill’s many fans who are finally able to fill this gap in their collection.

Limited 1000 copies - According to "Rolling Stone" it is "the most important German pop album of all times". The work was released in 1980: "Monarchy and everyday life" by Fehlfarben. Punk rock supergroup Fake Names – which includes Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, Bad Religion), Michael Hampton (S.O.A., Embrace, One Last Wish), Dennis Lyxzén (Refused, International Noise Conspiracy, INVSN), and Johnny Temple (Girls Against Boys, Soulside) - release their self-titled debut record via Epitaph. Fake Names first came to form in early 2016 when Brian Baker and Michael Hampton met up at Hampton’s Brooklyn home to play music together, with no intentions beyond possibly writing a song or two. Friends since first grade, the two guitarists ended up writing a handful of songs that day, and then closed out the session with a spontaneous decision to start a band. When it came to finding a bassist, Baker and Hampton looked to Johnny Temple, a fellow classmate from their elementary school. Later that year at Chicago’s Riot Fest, both Baker and Temple were struck with the sudden inspiration to recruit Refused frontman Dennis Lyxzén as their singer. On their self-titled debut, Fake Names bring their collective history to a 28-minute burst of unbridled energy. Co-produced by Hampton and Geoff Sanoff and recorded at Renegade Studios (a New York City facility owned by Little Steven Van Zandt), the album augments their bare-bones breed of punk with a heavy dose of power-pop, cleanly manifested in the band’s bittersweet melodies and abundant backup harmonies
