10 INCH LIMITED PRESSING OF 1500 NUMBERED COPIES ON BLACK VINYL. The little elves of Music On Vinyl have managed it in time for Christmas;
they have pressed 1.500 10 black vinyl copies of the exclusive and obscure Jimi Hendrix recording Merry Christmas And Happy New Year. This limited numbered EP contains three tracks. The medley Little Drummer Boy / Silent Night / Auld Lang Syne is recorded in 1969 as Jimi and his Band Of Gypsys (Billy Cox and Buddy Miles) were rehearsing for their appearances at the Fillmore East in New York in 1969. Knowing that this was going to be a special occasion, Jimi readied and recorded this medley of holiday favorites to celebrate both Christmas and the dawning of a new decade. On the flip side of this 180 gram audiophile vinyl is an extended version of this recording. The second track on Side A is Three Little Bears, which was recorded with The Experience in 1968 during sessions for Electric Ladyland. It was originally released on the posthumous compilation War Heroes. If you're a dedicated Hendrix fan, this limited, individually numbered 10 has to be on your Xmas wishlist!

Their first self-titled album [MOVLP1338] was executive produced by Cypress Hill member Sen Dog and featured guest appearances by Sen himself as well as Puerto Rican New York City rapper Hurricane G. Their second album, Here Come The Horns, again featured Sen Dog as well as Sen's brother, pioneering Latin rapper Mellow Man Ace. The album was also produced by Sen Dog and Paul Stewart. Music videos were made for "This is LA" and "Here Come the Horns".

The first single of the album was the track "Hey Luv" featuring R&B group 112. Infamy sold over 800.000 copies in the USA alone, reached #26 in the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and has been certified Gold by the RIAA.

FANTASY" The Live Adventures of Mike Bloomfield and Al Kooper is a double album recorded at the Fillmore West venue in San Francisco. The album is the follow-up to the studio album Super Session [MOVLP1530] which included both Bloomfield and Kooper in addition to Stephen Stills, and had achieved commercial and critical success earlier in 1968. In regards to the performances, recordings and production, in the sleeve notes Kooper describes the difficulties of finding rehearsal space, Bloomfield's insomnia, and the failure of a vocal microphone during "Dear Mr Fantasy". The album is an important, if raw, document of a live blues-rock performance of the period and is notable for not only one of the earliest live recordings by Carlos Santana, but also Bloomfield's debut as a vocalist. Whilst he is not historically noted in this role, in "Don't Throw Your Love on Me So Strong", according to Kooper, "he displays consummate homage to the traditional guitar-voice trade-offs;
a lesson in phrasing and understanding.

The album maintains its position as the band's most commercially successful studio album to date, and the songs "Nobody Hears" and "I'll Hate You Better" have the distinction of being the only top 40 hits in Suicidal Tendencies' career. The songs on The Art of Rebellion show the band's continuing experimentation with funk that had begun on this album's predecessor, Lights...Camera...Revolution! [MOVLP749], as well as more progressive song structures, a somewhat more alternative atmosphere, and even poporiented sounds. This helped the band not only outride the explosion of alternative in the early 90s, it also helped them gain a fan base within that community. Nonetheless, the album still stays true to the band's thrash and punk roots on many of the songs. The Art of Rebellion has achieved gold status and peaked at number 52 on the Billboard 200.
