From Mark "The Shark" Shelton words: You see the album was recorded in 84 and it first hit the sales racks in France in November or December of 84. Black Dragon decided to date their pressing 1985 because it was so close to the end of the year. They thought it would stand o a better chance of getting more attention as a new year release. So I have always considered Open The Gates a 1984 release.
