Limited Edition Double 180 gram White / Black Vinyl! ZATOKREV was founded in april 2002 in Basel, Switzerland. Although the first album (tracked in their own rehearsal room) was only intended for demo-purposes, the band immediately got offered various deals, and finally released the record in 2004/2005 on Codebreaker, Earache and Division Records to overwhelming media all over Europe and the states. The following Bury The Ashes got released through Firebox Records/Finland in 2007, while the third and most successful The Bat, The Wheel And The Long Road To Nowhere finally got a deserved world wide release in 2012 on the UK based cult-label Candlelight Records. Zatokrev have claimed stages on countless tours and festivals all over europe, while gaining the status of an intense live act. The numerous line-up changes throughout these years did not harm the creative output of the band: Drawing from their Sludge/Heavy-Background, the band is now a lot more open to experimentation, and does not hesitate to expand towards Doom, Death- and Black-Metal, as well as even Psychedelic Rock - So it’s no coincidence that also the lyrics and the artwork both bend towards more metaphorical themes. 2014 saw the recording of the new album Silk Spiders Underwater… at the infamous Rec Studio in Geneva with Serge Morattel and finally mixing and mastering by Raphael Bovey (Just as the predecessing album). The 65 minutes worth of new material feature denser songwriting and variations in dynamics and arrangements.

If Neil Young has a pronounced weakness, it's a lack of focus. Restless to a fault, he's apt to rush into the recording studio without fully forming his ideas. Sleeps with Angels is that kind of album--and yet it's one of his best. Jarred by the death of Kurt Cobain (the rock & roll martyr quoted Young in his suicide note), he dashed off this collection of songs in 1994 with backing from his steadfast electric warriors, Crazy Horse. At least two songs--the title track and "Change Your Mind"--seem to directly refer to Cobain. Others--"Driveby" and "Safeway Cart" among the most striking--are mesmerizing and gloomy. Still others--"Piece of Crap," "Blue Eden"--are raw and cutting. Goes to show an elegy, no matter how somber, needn't be a hushed affair. --Steven Stolder

And who knew that the soundtrack to one of Fulci’s nastiest films - The New York Ripper composed by Franco De Masi - had such an incredibly funky latin soundtrack that offsets the violence in the film and makes you want to dance like a duck? Rounding out this 2 LP set are two scores that have NEVER been on vinyl before: Giovanni Cristiani’s score to Demonia, a driving percussive-led score that is as moody as it is thrilling, dripping in synths and texture, and Franco Piana’s Door to Silence, which offers up some pretty thrilling 70’s jazz style cues soaked in brass and atmosphere. Big, bold and ballsy and definitely a welcome addition to the Fulci vinyl cannon.

After numerous ordeals with other musicians they have finally found the right group of people with right motives and Rock'N'Roll in their heart. Tilda Stenqvist on drums, Linda Ström at the bass and the singer Clare Cunningham born and raised in Ireland. They're having fun and it's noticeable on-stage. Pure enjoyment and Rock'N'Roll deep from their bones. Hardrock-girls from around the world now united to do one sole thing, to play together and travel on the roads.

Over the 12 years since their formation, the Sword have been compared to stoner rockers from Black Sabbath to Kyuss to Corrosion of Conformity to, well, Black Sabbath a whole lot. Meanwhile, possibly their biggest fan, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has likened them to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands that he grew up on.
