Друзья прогрессивного металла, обратите внимание: В 2017 году Threshold возвращаются из студии с новым концептуальным альбомом. "Legends Of The Shires" - так называется их одиннадцатая пластинка, ставшая преемницей "For The Journey" 2014 года.

Изменилось несколько вещей: В группу вернулся не кто иной, как вокалист Глинн Морган. Он уже покидал Threshold в 1996 году и в последний раз звучал на альбоме "Psychedelicatessen". Теперь он заменил Дэмиана Уилсона.

"Legends Of The Shires" - это пока первый двойной альбом британцев. Всего для него они записали 14 песен в английской студии Thin Ice. Продюсированием пластинки занимались гитарист Карл Грум и клавишник Ричард Уэст.

Песнями "Lost In Translation" и "Small Dark Lies" они уже представили два образца нового альбома.

Оба они дают понять, что "старый" вокалист привносит в группу новый, свежий ветер. Тем не менее, на "Legends Of The Shires" Threshold остаются верны себе.

Запись нового альбома проходила в студии Thin Ice Studios в Англии при участии Карла Грума (Karl Groom, гитара) и клавишника Ричарда Уэста (Richard West), а мастеринг прошел в финской студии Finnvox стараниями инженера Мика Джуссила (Mika Jussila). "For The Journey" - это не только один из самых сильных альбомов в нашем творчестве, но и один из самых приятных в плане работы, - комментирует Уэст. - Мы обсуждали подобное тысячу раз в процессе записи, но теперь, когда все закончилось, я до сих пор не могу перестать слушать его! Мне кажется, у нас получился очень достойный альбом. Я с нетерпением жду его выхода в свет".
