Благодаря своим быстрым и мелодичным песням, а также характерному полифоническому вокалу и фоновым хорам, которые часто прерываются резкими сменами ритма, и язвительным социально-критическим текстам, группа Bad Religion, основанная в Лос-Анджелесе в 1980 году, стала одним из институтов панк-рока.

Альбом 1988 года "Suffer" считается вечнозеленым, определяющим стиль, который не утратил своей энергии и по сей день. По случаю тура "House Of Blues", приуроченного к 30-летию группы, Bad Religion подарили своим самым преданным поклонникам концертный альбом "30 Years Live" в 2010 году. Однако второй в истории группы концертный альбом был доступен для бесплатного скачивания лишь в течение короткого времени.

Их лейбл Epitaph воспользовался 35-летием группы как возможностью напечатать "30 Years Live" на виниле и выпускать его регулярно.
