A cool film needs a cool soundtrack, right? And none come cooler than Atomic Blonde. A double LP filled to the brim with needle drops of some of the '80s best known cuts, as well as some under the radar gems, and a smattering of brand new tracks recorded especially for the movie. David Bowie, George Michael, The Clash, Nena, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and A Flock Of Seagulls of course need no introduction, and they all contribute absolutely killer songs here. Rubbing shoulders with these A-listers are lesser known acts such as Re-Flex, whose track The Politics of Dancing was a minor hit in the UK and is a pure '80s synth-pop banger from start to finish. After The Fire went from playing uninspired prog rock to recording the should-have-been classic Der Kommissar, full of funky guitar licks and a chorus so hook-laden it should be illegal. Voices Carry by American new wave band 'Til Tuesday features Aimee Mann on vocals and is an all-timer everyone needs on vinyl. The record is rounded out by a series of covers of classic '80s tracks. Industrial noise pop band Health offering a fresh take on New Order’s Blue Monday which turns the cold original into a sublime slice of melodic mayhem that breaks down into into electro shoegaze before going full dance floor to finish. Lex recording artists Kaleida supply a moody ethereal version of Nena’s 99 Luftballons. And finally composer Tyler Bates teams up with Marilyn Manson for a cover of Ministry’s Stigmata, which sounds like Manson going back to his Spooky Kids roots, and is urgent as all hell. Four sides of killer music wrapped in a beautiful package for one of the best action films this year. The music, on 180 gram coloured vinyl, has been remastered especially for this release, produced and overseen by original composer Michael Bross. In addition, for the first time ever, we are showcasing two brand new tracks from the game, never heard before, as part of a Volume Two teaser. "Here are 2 more original tracks from Oddworld Stranger's Wrath that have not been released until now," said Michael Bross. "The music was specially mastered for this vinyl release, and I hope the fans enjoy it!" The two brand new tracks come on a limited edition 7" that is included in all two variants. Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath won numerous awards and kudos (88% Metacritic, with Gameshark calling it "insidious" and Talk Xbox saying it "outstrips even the mighty Halo") when it was originally released for the Microsoft Xbox in 2005. Limited to 500 Copies. The score to Finding Oscar was co-composed by John Stirratt whom is the longest serving member of Wilco alongside Jeff Tweedy and the Autumn Defense plus Irish producer / composer Paul Pilot (Duke Special, the Amazing Pilots). The Finding Oscar Score is from a session in Chicago, Jan, 2016 . They were joined by Drummer, Joe Adamik (Iron and Wine, Califone) and along with engineer Stephen Shirk contributing live tape and FX manipulations. The soundtrack includes a cover of R.E.M's Flowers of Guatemala which features Peter Buck on 12 string guitar and Scott McCaughey on piano. John Stirratt recalls hearing the song at its time of release in 1986. "Life's Rich Pageant was R.E.M. at the top of their game, and they had mastered the subtle political song on that record. Flowers of Guatemala was a beautiful song with an unsettling core” A reworking of this song (with Stirratt on vocal duties and Buck back on guitar) for the closing credits of the film feels like an appropriate bookend to an often harrowing film and score as well as a nod to REM's early highlighting of the Guatemalan situation. Rhino выпустит 2 новых музыкальных сопровождения к новым сериям Альбомы выйдут на CD и двойном виниле 8 сентября Долгожданное возвращение революционного сериала «Твин Пикс», созданного Марком Фростом и Дэвидом Линчем, состоялось в эфире телеканалаShowtime. Музыка, прозвучавшая в новых сериях, станет частью двух грядущих саундтреков, которые выйдут на лейбле Rhino Entertainment 8 сентября. Twin Peaks (Music from the Limited Event Series) и Twin Peaks (Limited Event Series Original Soundtrack) будут доступны на CD, а также на двойном виниле. В преддверии выхода новых серий лейбл Rhino чуть ранее переиздал саундтрек к оригинальному сериалу (1990-91) и последующему фильму Fire Walk With Me (1992). Музыка всегда играла центральную роль в работах Линча, и именно она помогла создать неповторимый образ и запоминающийся характер оригинального «Твин Пикса». То же самое можно сказать и о новых сериях. Начиная с пилотного эпизода, треки из звуковой дорожки появляются в сериале постепенно, по мере выхода каждой из 18-ти серий нового сезона. Первый трек дебютного эпизода - Twin Peaks Main Theme - в исполнении обладателя «Грэмми» Анджело Бадаламенти, чья музыка неразрывно связано с сериалом и фильмом. Второй трек Shadow в исполнении Chromatics, электронной группы из Лос-Анджелеса, который также войдет в их следующий альбом Dear Tommy. Коллектив выпустил видео на новую композицию одновременно с выходом первой серии «Твин Пикс». Созданный Дэвидом Линчем и вышедший в эфире телеканала Showtime, новый 18-серийный сериал «Твин Пикс» показывает события, спустя 25 лет после ошеломительного убийства всеобщей любимицы Лоры Палмер. Обладатель «Золотого Глобуса» и номинант на премию «Эмми» Кайл Маклахлен снова снялся в роли специального агента Дейла Купера.
