Mezcal Head is their second album, originally released in 1993. The album includes their most successful single "Duel", which was awarded NME's Single of the Week. The album turned out to be one of the hottest albums in 1993 and was recognized a masterpiece from start to finish of vintage dream-pop/shoe gaze on AllMusic with a 9/10 rating. Mezcal Head was ranked at number 265 on Spin's "The 300 Best Albums of the Past 30 Years (1985-2014)" list. Alternative Press also ranked it #39 and #90 on their "90 Greatest Albums of the 90s" and "Top 99 Albums of 5 to 5" lists respectively. Pitchfork Media ranked the album #10 in their list of the top 50 shoegaze albums in 2016. Finally, for the first time since its original release in 1993, Mezcal Head is available on European soil. BLACK MIXED VINYL Forever is a 1993 album by the British shoegaze band Cranes. Forever continues the trend of the band's previous albums, revolving largely around Alison Shaw's distinctive vocals. The album contains elements of shoegaze, dream pop and gothic rock, and features the singles "Adrift" and "Jewel". The album starts with hypnotizing acoustic guitar chords on the first track "Everywhere". Songs like "Cloudless", "And Ever" and "Far Away" show the band taking an extremely minimalist approach to their songwriting with sometimes nothing more than a piano accompanying Allison's voice. The songs "Adrift" and "Clear" are heavy post-punk rockers and "Jewel" is one of the brightest and most colorful songs that Cranes have ever produced. "Jewel" ended up being an underground hit in the U.K. and U.S., though thanks to a somewhat transformed remix courtesy of longtime Cranes fan Robert Smith (Forever takes its name from a The Cure rarity of the same title). Forever turned out to be a favorite amongst fans and critics, it's a lost treasure of early 90s dream pop, delivering unique and mesmerizingly beautiful music. The hidden track "Shine Like A Star" is included on the LP. Pressed on gold with a swirl of black vinyl, the first 1.000 copies are individually numbered and strictly limited.

The first dub album ever to reach the album charts in the U.K. included "One In Ten" and "Don't Slow Down". In 1983 the band put on a new project, boasting ten cover versions of Jamaican hits and, contrary to low expectations, it became a huge hit and the band's first number one album. Tracks included are "Cherry Oh Baby" and "Please Don't Make Me Cry" and "Red Red Wine". The latter was a rather poppy song and became the band's biggest selling single ever, entailing their definitive worldwide break through. There have been lots of collaborations through the years and most of these became huge hit songs. Together with Chrissie Hynde UB40 recorded two singles: "I Got You Babe" (1985) and "Breakfast In Bed" (1988). They teamed up with Afrika Bambaataa for "Reckless" (1988) and with Robert Palmer the band released "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight" (1990), just to name a few. In late 1972 Thin Lizzy released their first hit in the version of a traditional Irish ballad, "Whiskey In The Jar". It topped the worldwide charts. The band's album released later on in 1973 featured both the hit single and "The Rocker". Nightlife, the fourth studio album was produced by Ron Nevison and featured Gary Moore on lead guitar on "Still In Love With You". The fifth studio album Fighting showed the first real evidence of the twin guitar sound that would lead the band towards their greatest successes. It includes the tracks "Suicide" and "Wild One". After a successful multi-band tour in support of Status Quo, the band recorded the album Jailbreak. Thin Lizzy flew to Canada in 1977 as a trio to record their next album, with Gorham handling all the guitar parts. The album included the songs "Dancing In The Moonlight" and "Bad Reputation". At the beginning of 1979 they recorded Black Rose: A Rock Legend in Paris. The album was released in 1979 and has been described as one of the band's greatest, most successful album. The tracks "Do Anything You Want" and "Sarah" are both included. Lynott worked on his solo career with several albums. It spawned the solo tracks "King's Call" and "Yellow Pearl", as well as the track "Chinatown". In the meantime Thin Lizzy released their twelfth studio album including the wonderful tracks "The Sun Goes Down" and "Cold Sweat"

This was followed up by the officially released "Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide" a week later. Gaye scored his first real hit with "Stubborn Kind of Fellow" in 1962, which he had co-written himself, joking about his alleged stubbornness. The foundations were now laid for an enormous series of chart successes: "Pride And Joy", "Can I Get A Witness", "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" and "Ain't That Peculiar" are all Motown classics from 1963-1965 which are still being regularly played today after all these years. The duets he recorded with Kim Weston ("It Takes Two") and especially Tammi Terrell were certainly at least as good. He scored his biggest ever hit with "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" in 1968. The "What's Going On" from the same named album became a number 1 hit in the USA and the album was received as a masterpiece everywhere and is now regarded as one of the most important records in pop history. In 1973, the artistically and commercially very successful, Let's Get It On album was mainly a musical ode to Marvin's love for his new muse Janis Hunter. The success enjoyed by "Sexual Healing" and the album which was released at the end of 1982, travelled with him. Suddenly Gaye, who had started to increasingly be forgotten about, was a celebrated star again and this was certainly a position the singer revelled in. The pop world lost one of the most important soul singers ever to grace the world on 1st April 1984. He has left behind a series of fantastic hits plus a big handful of tracks which deserve the title of masterpiece, all COLLECTED on this album

"K's Choice stripped its musical soul on this particular album, composing a sound that's both charming and gentle. Frontwoman Sarah Bettens gets personal from the start, kicking off the album with a recording of her singing a Belgian folk song at age five. The innocence surrounding it sets the tone. DREAMLIKE I WANDER Carole King is the most successful female songwriter of the 20th century, having written or co-written 118 pop hits on the Billboard Hot 100 between 1955 and 1999. She also wrote 61 hits that charted in the UK, making her the most successful female songwriter on the UK singles charts between 1952 and 2005. Carole King has won four Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for her songwriting. She is the recipient of the 2013 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, the first woman to be honored this way. Touch The Sky was released in 1979. The country-tinged sound is much more than Simple Things and Welcome Home. Carole King is more contemplative in voice and melancholic, no doubt due to the death of her third husband, Rick Evers, earlier in the year. The personal loss is best felt in the song Dreamlike I Wander. That being said, the overall feeling of the album remains optimistic. Walk With Me, Move Lightly, Passing of the Days and Eagle can be described as personal pep-talks. Like most mid-70s albums by Carole King, Touch The Sky was co-produced by multi-award winning Mark Hallman.

The album is a return to the raw sound heard on the debut album L.D. 50, which was recently released on vinyl for the first time. Lost and Found is described as a hard rock album with elements of thrash metal. The song "Determined" (originally titled "Fucking Determined") utilizes elements of modern thrash and hardcore punk. The album's first single, "Happy?", featured complex guitar work and the track "Choices" was described by lead vocalist Chad Gray as "the eight-minute opus". The latter the longest Mudvayne song to date. Drummer Matt McDonough said he believed the music on the album would reflect a refinement of Mudvayne's complex structured hard rock balanced against more melody than any previous album. The album had major success, being certified Gold by the RIAA shortly after release. It has sold over 1,000,000 copies and is the band's most successful album to date. The first 1.000 copies of the Music On Vinyl re-issue are individually numbered and pressed on Crystal Clear with a tip of Black mixed vinyl!

It was the follow-up to the very successful Pornograffitti album. III Sides To Every Story was the last album with the band's original line-up: Gary Cherone, Nuno Bettencourt, Pat Badger and Paul Geary. The album is structured as a concept album in three sections labeled as "sides" - a play on the notion of "different sides to a story" and that of "sides" of a vinyl album. The sides, mentioned in the song "Cupid's Dead" as "three sides to every story" are named "Yours", "Mine" and "The Truth", and each features a distinct musical style and lyrical imagery. Most of III Sides To Every Story was recorded at New River Studios, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and the orchestral parts were recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London. The single Rest in Peace" reached #1 on the Mainstream Rock chart. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of this classic album, 1000 copies are pressed on Moss Green vinyl.
