Record Store Day 2016 Release. Founded by Ben Lovett (Mumford and Sons), Kevin Jones (Bear's Den) and producer Ian Grimble as a West London club night in 2006, Communion has spent its first decade expanding into a record label, live promotion and publishing. To kick off a year of anniversary celebrations, Communion Records are releasing a limited edition, 180gm black vinyl-only album featuring on one side the best of the releases to come through the label so far - including Ben Howard, Catfish and The Bottlemen and Daughter - and the best of what's to come on the second - including Matthew and The Atlas, Twin Peaks and a first release of the brand new Bear's Den live track, 'Red Earth and The Pouring Rain'.
