Concert recorded at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Oregon, on June 27th, 2000. It was released on multiple formats, audio and video. This release is a testimony of a series of worldwide concert tours by Roger Waters that spanned the years 1999 and 2000. More performances with the same band and set-list were added for a third tour in 2002. Returning from a 12-year-long hiatus from the road, In The Flesh was a showcase of Waters' best known work from his days with Pink Floyd to his most recently released solo album, 1992's Amused to Death. The title is an allusion to the 1977 Pink Floyd tour for the Animals album, as well as the two songs so titled on the album The Wall.
