"With vast critical acclaim and a strongly loyal fanbase, »Advice« is the long-awaited fourth album, which has all the potential to bring UK noise rock quartet Hawk Eyes to a wider audience. The band’s aim was to create an album where every track has its own identity, yet it works as a whole. As with every previous album, the band has been able to expand their sound once again and surprise listeners with unique twists and turns. Since their formation in late 2004, Hawk Eyes have played to audiences all over the world, including Japan, SXSW in Texas and pretty much the entire continent of Europe. The Truth: HAWK EYES are from Leeds, Englandshire. They consist of Paul Astick (vocals / guitar), Rob Stephens (guitar), Ryan Clark (bass) and Matt Reid (drums), and have done so in some form or another since 2005. Well, since drummer Matt joined from Whores Whores Whores anyway. One of those previous so-called orms' was Chickenhawk, whose gruesomely complex odern Bodies' album of 2010 cheerily brutalised a not-so-innocent generation of grumpy grunged-up kids as they toured the known universe with Alexisonfire, We Are The Ocean and The Computers.
