NUfrequency, AKA Daniele Contrini and Cristiano Massera, will release a double-disc album called Connected next month on Contrini's label, Rebirth. The group began as a trio in 2004, but after Alessandro Ripamonti left the project in 2006 Contrini and Massera continued to make music as NUfrequency. The pair has worked with many musicians for Connected, including Massive Attack collaborator Shara Nelson, singer-songwriter Yoav and New York reggae vocalist Hawkman. Some of the original productions on the first CD have had extremely limited or no release or have only ever been heard as remixes, many of which feature on Connected's second CD. These include Motor City Drum Ensemble’s rework of "Fallen Hero" and Wolf & Lamb's interpretation of "My Angel." Record Label: Rebirth Records Style: Electronica
