Впервые в истории альбом был ремастирован с оригинальных пленок для LP и CD. Power, Corruption & Lies Definitive Edition поставляется в виде бокс-сета, включающего 180-граммовый виниловый LP, двойной CD, двойной DVD и книгу.

Ремастированный оригинальный альбом дополнен дополнительным CD, содержащим запись сессии BBC John Peel 1982 года, а также ранее не издававшиеся записи сессий звукозаписи из репетиционных залов New Order в Манчестере. На DVD также представлены два концерта New Order в "The Haçienda" в Манчестере и в Rosehill Hotel в Килкенни в 1982 и 1983 годах, телевизионный документальный фильм 1984 года "Play At Home" и другие редкие концертные и телевизионные выступления. Бокс-сет дополняет 48-страничная книга в твердом переплете, оформленная Питером Сэвиллом, с редкими фотографиями группы и эксклюзивным сопроводительным текстом Уоррена Джексона.

К бокс-сету прилагаются четыре 12-дюймовых сингла (они не включены в данный бокс, но доступны отдельно) 1983 и 1984 годов, не вошедшие в оригинальный LP. Помимо самой успешной песни New Order "Blue Monday", в составе этого бокс-сета в виде виниловых синглов также выпущены "Confusion", "Thieves Like Us" и "Murder".

Power, Corruption & Lies был спродюсирован New Order и записан в студии Britannia Row Studios в Ислингтоне в 1982 году.

Released on 16 November 1979 as 7". The initial run of 10,000 pressings came in a textured sleeve. The subsequent run of another 20,000 pressings came in textured or flat (untextured) sleeves. Until 17 July 1981, 38.245 7" records were pressed in total. Other differentiation criteria: The cut-out on the rear is either bevelled or rounded or there is none. The glue flaps are either all straight or rounded at the bottom. The G+L is either white or purple. First editions (A1 / B1) were cut by Graeme Durham at the Sound Clinic, while later editions (A2 / B1) were cut by George "Porky" Peckham. Editions were pressed by WEA (S-x) or Lyntone (LYN-xxxx). Issued as 12" in February 1981. According to Tony Wilson "due to continuing unhappiness with cut on 'Novelty'". Despite high expectations, the single only charted in the UK Independent charts. Please note there is an Italian [l34753] pressing of [r15228165] that was inadvertently packaged (with sleeve and labels) as their version of this release.

Chicago trio Facs have evolved very quickly in the span of their three years in existence. "Void Moments" is their third & latest offering; a dark & claustrophobic album with rivulets of seismic beauty peeking through the din. Formed in the wake of the dissolution of Disappears, guitarist Brian Case & drummer Noah Leger's project is the logical continuation of the trails blazed in their former outfit. Since their 2017 debut "Negative Houses", the band have reworked, retooled & reshaped their sound, and with the addition of bassist Alianna Kalaba on 2018's "Lifelike", their evolution has coalesced into something distinct. Gone is the bone-rattling minimalism of "Negative Houses"; "Void Moments" offers an abstraction of the melodic elements that crept into "Lifelike" and contorts them toward a new horizon. Where "Lifelike" rang with a metallic, near-industrial racket, "Void Moments" cloaks the music behind a black velvet curtain of sonance, obsfuscating the band's most direct set of songs to date. "Boy" kicks off with a lurch of vocals and Case's sinewy guitar-line guiding a stoic march. By the time Kalaba drops in with the bass, the track morphs into a milky swirl, leading into the chiming swirl of "Teenage Hive"s buzzing churn. "Casual Indifference" expertly fuses the band's rhythmic pulse with a somber dissolve of guitars, vocals and backwards-masked drums. "Version" closes out side one with lush surges of Case's shoegaze'd guitar & voice weaving around the rhythm section. Side two careens in with Leger's cavernous drums, with Kalaba and Case riding alongside. The album's final two tracks "Lifelike" and "Dub Over" cascade into one another, becoming one & act as a perfect analogy to "Void Moments" mutability, both musically & lyrically. Despite it's foggy presence, "Void Moments" still careens toward the light. By embracing fluidity, Facs continue to evolve & refuse to be ensnared by genre. "Void Moments" ruminates on humanity's increasing refusal of identity, not only by our increasing reliance on technology, but also within our society's challenging of societal & gender norms. "Void Moments" feels one step closer to oblivion, but it's sounds are a welcome salve.

What do you do when pain blots out joy? How do you learn to take care of yourself? What happens when the things you think are helping end up doing the most harm? 'Auto-Pain' is the Sophomore album from Deeper, a record that finds the band embracing open space, using synths to create shadows where bricks of guitars once would've blocked out the sun. While it's still within the Great Lakes post-punk tradition of their debut, the album isn't as insular as its predecessor; it's less interested in pile-driving and more willing to dwell in liminal spaces. Guitars enter the picture precisely, locked bass grooves propel things forward. Drummer Shiraz Bhatti, who is half-Pakistani and half-Native American, embraced the drumming patterns he'd heard growing up at pow-wows, channeling the anxieties of his heritage into his playing and keeping the group grounded when they switch into all-out percussive attack. The result is an album both more nuanced and catchy. Auto-Pain represents the constant wave of depression felt by many in everyday life. Stemmed from Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World', Auto-Pain is a concept meant to be an inverse to soma, a pill in the book which makes everything numb. The idea of auto-pain is to epitomize the desire to return to a connection with thoughts and clarity, which comes at the expense of feeling everything simultaneously. The album artwork features the now-demolished Prentice Women's Hospital in Chicago capturing the band's rounded-off brutalism, and the album title appears in Urdu, a nod to drummer Shiraz Bhatti's Pakistani heritage. The record was recorded and mixed by Chicago scene luminary Dave Vetraino (Lala Lala, Dehd) and mastered at Chicago Mastering by Greg Obis (Ne-Hi, Melkbelly).
