Vespertine is the musical score that THIS WILL DESTROY YOU composed for Chef Jordan Kahn’s 2-Michelin Star restaurant of the same name. The score originally ran exclusively at the physical site of the restaurant in Culver City, California, since its grand opening in late 2017. The program consists of seven pieces specifically written for moments within the building itself (and even the space around and on top of it). The sequencing of the album is an attempt to mimic the order in which diners at Vespertine encounter different spaces throughout their experience. “Rumble” is the ever-present hum and ominous force surrounding the immediate exterior of the building. “Entrance” signifies the crossing over from the terrestrial realm into the inner atmosphere of “The Waffle” structure, where the evening begins to unfold. “Kitchen” is an warm, hospitable piece that accompanies a personal encounter with Chef Kahn. “Rooftop” and its celestially-inspired movements often pair perfectly with clear nights atop The Waffle. “Dining Room” sets the tone for a multi-course main dinner service. “Exit” is another transitional piece signifying the end of the main service and setting the stage for a supplemental experience. Finally, “Garden” welcomes diners back into a semi-terrestrial realm wherein afterdinner sweets and beverages accompany reflection upon the evening’s moments, all in full view of the looming architectural monolith that is The Waffle.

Debut album Fad represents the sound of a band trying to make sense of a noisy and disjointed world - one that competes for your attention at every turn. For them, it has come to be a symbol of what it feels like to try and absorb the world through both fleeting moments in front of screens, and prolonged obsessive periods filled with focus. They pull apart pop-culture in search of new meaning, whether it's a nod to The Simpsons (Fad 95), imagining a lost John Hughes film (Klub Silberrücken), spiralling downwards into youtube deep-dives (Pink Tide), or making sense of youth culture through The Urban Dictionary (Grinning At The Lid). Much in the same way that modern life can be defined by its unpredictability, Silverbacks colourful, vivid and exuberant songs dismantle their source material and end up in places that you don't think they will. For 4 long years, fans have been eagerly awaiting the follow-up album to 2016's critically acclaimed Versus, which in the meantime has become nothing less than a cult album in the post rock world. Despite bass player Kristian Karlsson's heavy engagement in his other band CULT OF LUNA, PG.Lost toured with Versus around the globe, in support of bands like MONO, ALCEST and CULT OF LUNA in Europe, and playing their own headline shows to crowds of 1.000+ in China. The 4 piece from Norrköping, Sweden also appeared at Robert Smith's prestigious Meltdown showcase festival in London, personally chosen by the man himself. While the follow-up to Versus is due for a release later this year, to sweeten the wait we are now bringing you a remastered re-release of PG.LOST's debut album, Yes I Am, for the first time ever on vinyl. And right here, we'd like to leave you with what the band has to say about this long overdue re-issue themselves. ,Sometimes when we have listened to those songs that we made roughly fifteen years ago we've thought of how we could make them sound better if we recorded them with the skills and knowledge that we have now. We made a halfhearted effort a while ago, and we learned quite quickly that it was not as easy as we thought. Something just got lost in the mix. A feeling. For better or worse that album, as it was recorded in our early twenties, is simply embedded in our DNA and stands as a testament of our evolution as a band. It was Yes I Am that attracted interest from labels and landed us our first record deal. It was those songs that took us out in the world to meet people and do all the things we love that we had only dreamed of before. We still play them live with the same immersive feeling we got when we made them. So now, with all that in mind, when we ask ourselves "are you proud?" the answer will always be "Yes I Am!" So, we are really happy to finally be able to offer you the re-release of "Yes I Am". First time on vinyl and with a new/old design for the CD version. The cover photo is one of the actual spraypainted demos that our friend Andreas made back in the day when we were just kids. As a bonus, we're also including a download of a live recording of our show at "Östgötateatern" in our hometown Norrköping in 2017 where we played all the songs from the album for the 10th anniversary of its release. It was a project long in the making and possibly the most elaborate and fun gig we've ever done. It's not every day that you have the size and possibilities of a huge professional theatre at your disposal, and the visions and time of the people working there. Everything was mastered by long time collaborator Magnus Lindberg. Enjoy!

A guitar/drums duo (Randall and drummer/vocalist Dean Spunt) with a penchant for self-recorded samples, No Age are mostly unconcerned with things like space or pause, and Goons Be Gone is gorgeously thick-- a hazy, delirious expanse that's both comforting and disorienting. Listening to Goons Be Gone, it's hard to comprehend how just two people can manage to make so much noise while still sounding so subdued and mysterious-- it's easier to imagine Randall and Spunt spewing these songs underwater, bursting forth from some colossal California quarry rather than a tiny, stuffy art space a few blocks from L.A.'s skid row. Ultimately, it's part of No Age's allure that Goons Be Gone is so difficult to figure out, that it manages to be so big while coming from a place so small: All you'll know for sure is that you want to listen longer. Maybe forever.
