180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE VINYL - INSERT Pride was the second studio album by the American/Danish hard rock band White Lion, released in 1987. The album featured the two Top 10 hits "Wait" and "When the Children Cry". Its first single "Wait" did not make waves until MTV began airing the music video seven months after its release, pushing the single to #8 on the Billboard Hot 100. More than a year after the album's release, the second single "Tell Me" also featuring a music video hit #58. Pride's third single, a gentle acoustic ballad titled "When The Children Cry" made it all the way to #3, marking Pride one of just 20 Hard Rock albums to ever have multiple top 10 hits. Consequently, the album peaked at #11 on the album charts. Pride would remain on the top 200 Billboard album charts for a full year, selling two million copies in the US alone, which awarded the album a Platinum status. The Pride tour started in July 1987 as White Lion opened for Ace Frehley's 80's band Frehley's Comet. The next year and a half was filled with constant touring, opening for such bands as Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne and KISS. White Lion also landed the opening slot for AC/DC on their Blow Up Your Video American tour. They'd end the tour opening for Stryper in the summer of 1988.

180 GRAM VINYL - EXPANDED EDITION CONTAINS 3 BONUS TRACKS Four Sail is the fourth album by the American Rock band Love, released in 1969. By mid-1968, Arthur Lee was the only remaining member of the Forever Changes line-up of Love. Three LPs worth of material were recorded in a makeshift studio in a Los Angeles warehouse, released as Four Sail and the Blue Thumb LP Out Here. Guitarist Jay Donnellan plays a heavy lead guitar and gets lots of solo space in the arrangements. The rhythm section favors a leaden sound, particularly drummer George Suranovich, who soaks the barbecue with Keith Moon and Mitch Mitchell licks. The tracks are deep in feeling and performed with an emotional fervor that sometimes approaches anguish. Lee's lyrics and performances have been compared to Jimi Hendrix, certainly a compliment. This album is such a good example of these strengths that it rises above the garage band sound to communicate a sense of time and place as well as some truly sincere feelings. "Always See Your Face" was featured in the 2000 film High Fidelity and was included on the official soundtrack. This expanded edition of Four Sail includes three bonus tracks

After years of having white Rock acts covering their most famed material, particularly, "Shout" and "Twist And Shout", the Isleys decided to do the same to music made famous by white artists such as Stephen Stills, Eric Burdon and Neil Young. Among the songs they covered were "Spill The Wine", "Love The One You're With", the social commentary medley of "Ohio" and "Machine Gun" (from Jimi Hendrix), "Fire And Rain" by James Taylor and Bob Dylan's "Lay Lady Lay". The Isleys' perseverance paid off when their covers of "Love The One You're With", "Lay Lady Lay" and "Spill The Wine" became charted hits. Bill Withers plays guitar on the Isleys' version of his "Cold Bologna"

The album peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Top LPs chart and received a Gold record award for sales in excess of 500,000. The album spawned their most successful single, "So Very Hard to Go". The single peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100. Two other singles from the album also charted on the Billboard Hot 100: "This Time It's Real" and "What Is Hip?". It marked the debut of Lenny Williams being the lead vocalist (though Williams had a solo career prior to joining T.O.P., plus he co-penned the song "You Strike My Main Nerve" from the previous album Bump City [MOVLP1244]). Tower Of Power also introduced the world to saxophonist and future Saturday Night Live band leader, Lenny Pickett, who was the youngest member of the band at the time, replacing original lead sax player Skip Mesquite. Also joining the lineup was organist/keyboardist Chester Thompson and guitarist Bruce Conte, who replaced original guitarist Willie James Fulton

180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE VINYL Secrets (1976) is a Jazz-Funk fusion album by acclaimed keyboard player Herbie Hancock. Following up on his previous album Man-Child, the album again features Paul Jackson on bass, and reedist Bennie Maupin continued to provide most of the solos alongside Hancock. Man-Child had seen the addition of electric guitar to Hancock's sound, and Secrets saw the guitar's place in the arrangements rise to crucial importance throughout. The flamboyant rhythm guitar contributions of top Motown session musician Wah Wah Watson are a particularly notable feature of the album. Where Man-Child was evenly divided between up-tempo and laid-back tracks, Secrets emphasised the more mellow, softly rounded mood. Even the more up-tempo tracks, "Doin' It" and "Cantaloupe Island", are suffused with a relaxed Caribbean infl uence, and overall the album tends towards restrained, rolling grooves rather than overtly high-energy Funk. Appropriately, Hancock spent much of his time using the mellow tones of the Rhodes piano, and took advantage of the new polyphonic synthesizers to contribute thick pads, foreshadowing ambient music.

VOL. 1&2 / 180 GRAM / GATEFOLD SLEEVE/ REMASTERED AUDIO Blues Jam In Chicago Vol. 1 & 2 was the result of a recording session with Fleetwood Mac in early 1969 at Chess Records in Chicago, home to Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf, amongst others. Then a young British blues band, Peter Green, John McVie, guitarists Danny Kirwan and Jeremy Spencer and Mick Fleetwood jammed with a number of famous Chicago Blues artists from whom they drew inspiration. Since the Peter Greenled Fleetwood Mac was so directly influenced by Chicago blues, the session acts as a kind of stylistic homecoming for the band. The following Windy City Blues legends were present at this single-day session: Otis Spann, David "Honeyboy" Edwards, Buddy Guy, Walter "Shakey" Horton, J. T. Brown, Willie Dixon and S.P. Leary. Willie Dixon oversaw the proceedings, and can be heard during the between-song banter giving directions and chastising Walter "Shakey" Horton for missing his cues. Originally released in two volumes, we've combined them into one powerful package!

Mi Tierra (English: My Homeland) is the third studio album by Cuban-American recording artist Gloria Estefan, released in 1993. Produced by husband Emilio Estefan, it is her first Spanish-language album and pays homage to her Cuban roots. The album features Cuban musical genres, including Boleros, Danzan and Son music.
