Kiss - Creatures Of The Night

Their 10th studio album (not counting the 4 solo LP's) featured a return to a loud solid metal style, it also includes one of the heaviest drum sounds ever captured in the studio up to this point. By 1982, Ace Frehley had quit the band. His appearance on this album’s cover was purely to reassure fans. [a=Vinnie Vincent] co-wrote three tracks and performed on a total of five. When the album was reissued in 1985 an 'unmasked' front cover pic showing [a=Bruce Kulick] was used, and a different track sequence (Killer and Saint And Sinner being switched). The band has later admitted that other musicians also performed uncredited on this album: [a=Robben Ford] – lead guitar on "Rock and Roll Hell" and "I Still Love You" [a=Steve Farris (2)] – lead guitar on "Creatures of the Night" [a=Adam Mitchell] - rhythm guitar and outro lick on "Creatures of the Night" [a=Jimmy Haslip] – bass guitar on "Danger"
