The quintet with his son Ignaz Dinné (tenor saxophone), Rick Hollander (drums), Vincent Bourgeyx (piano) and Tom Berkmann (double bass) is one of the most exciting and virtuosic ensembles in the American tradition of hardbops. Markus Harm was born in 1987 in Stuttgart and spent his childhood and youth in Nagold and Tübingen. In the years 2008 to 2015 he studied jazz saxophone at the Nuremberg Academy of Music with Klaus Graf, Hubert Winter and Steffen Schorn.
