Local music, reinterpreted: Against right-wing extremism, prejudice and exclusion. The brass band Banda Comunale has been active in Dresden for over 15 years. In doing so, it is uninhibited in the cultural heritage of alien countries and peoples. Their repertoire mainly contains music from the crisis regions of the world: North, West, East and Central Africa, Balkan and Eastern Europe, Middle East, Colombia. In the last two years, the band has made a very special impression on the band. On the one hand, the PEGIDA strolls, and the fate of the many refugees. After more than 40 concerts against PEGIDA and "No to Home" initiatives and for refugees in first-time recording facilities in Dresden and the surrounding area, the band founded the Banda Internationale project together with migrants. The almost 20-strong collective won numerous prizes in 2016 and played more than 60 concerts. With its great aim of reinterpreting local music, the formation wants to open up hearts, to reduce prejudice and resentment, and to contribute to an understanding between new and old Saxons, Germans and Europeans. В начале восьмидесятых годов UB40 отпраздновали свой первый успех с альбомом "Food For Thought". К моменту выпуска своего первого альбома они уже были настолько успешны, что подписались на получение пособия, в результате чего на обложке их дебютного альбома появилась форма "Signed Off". Дебютный альбом стал первым в истории дабовым альбомом, покорившим британские чарты, и включил в себя композиции "One In Ten" и "Don't Slow Down".

в 1983 году группа обратила внимание на новый проект и записала десять кавер-версий ямайских хитов. Хотя ожидания от этого релиза были не очень высоки, альбом стал мегахитом и первым альбомом группы номер один. В него вошли песни "Cherry Oh Baby" и "Please Don't Make Me Cry", а также "Red Red Wine", цвет которой использован в лимитированном издании "Collected".

"Red Red Wine", более попсовый по стилю, стал самым продаваемым синглом группы и обеспечил ей международный прорыв. За эти годы было много совместных работ, каждая из которых становилась хитом. UB40 записали два сингла с Крисси Хайнд: "I Got You Babe" в 1985 году и "Breakfast In Bed" в 1988 году.

С Afrika Bambaataa они записали песню "Reckless" в 1988 году, а с Robert Palmer - "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight" в 1990 году. на альбоме "Collected" представлены все различные этапы развития группы.
