The Cure - Mixed Up (Deluxe Edition)

"Mixed Up" (first published November 1990) compiles 1990 remixes of 'Close To Me', 'The Caterpillar', 'Inbetween Days' and remixes from 1990 re-recordings of 'A Forest' and 'The Walk'. Also included are previously released remixes of 'Lullaby', 'Fascination Street', 'Lovesong', 'Pictures Of You', 'Hot Hot Hot!!!' and 'Why Can't I Be You?'. (The latter was omitted from CD versions due to playtime limitations.) Finally, there was one new song in its extended mix form: '[m=31962]', published as the 1st single heralding this album in September 1990. A 2nd single '[m=31934]' was released in October, including two more new 1990 remixes: 'Just Like Heaven' and 'Primary'. A 3-disc deluxe edition reissue was released as "Mixed Up + Extras: Remixes 1982-1990 + Torn Down" in 2018 featuring the original album remastered, a second disc of older remixes remastered ("Remixes 1982-1990"), and a disc of newly commissioned remixes ("Torn Down"). It was also available digitally under the original release's title, "Mixed Up".
