2020 (10th) repress on golden vinyl, 500 units worldwide. Blows Your Mind is the classic debut album by Baby Woodrose originally released in 2001 on main man Lorenzo Woodrose ówn label Pan Records. Lorenzo wrote the songs and played all the instruments himself and although the sound is more lo-fi than usual on a Baby Woodrose album the songs are among the best he ever wrote. Blows Your Mind was originally issued on vinyl on a Spanish label in 2001. There is believed to be 1500 copies in circulation and the album is now a much sought after collectors item going for insane prices on E-bay. The album has been mastered by Jürgen Hendlmeier (the original version was never mastered) and is wrapped in a stunning 350 gsm gatefold sleeve with original artwork by Malleus. The artwork by Malleus has caused controversy recently. The printer in Germany denied to print the sleeve due to the fact that they found it to be too offensive! Autotelia – as originally coined by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi – describes a process by which someone has a purpose in, rather than outside of themselves. Those who are autotelic depend less on external rewards for their satisfaction, being driven instead simply by purpose or curiosity. Such an ethos was the genesis of a new project put together by Tomaga’s Tom Relleen and The Oscillation’s Demian Castellanos. Autotelia’s sound – as chronicled on their debut release for Rocket Recordings – evolved purely of its own volition, as its makers were happy to allow their own chemistry and interplay to take their distinct course. This zen-like simplicity of approach has been more than rewarded, as the impulses and intentions blossomed into meditative extrapolations both sonically rich and spiritually bewitching. Although some observers may able to detect parallels with the blissful drift of Cluster’s ‘II’, the glowing ampstacks of Spacemen 3’s ‘Dreamweapon’ or the becalmed modernism of late ‘70s Eno in these radiant trance states, the core sound of Autotelia remains in splendid isolation, an incandescent and unearthly tapestry of echoes and vibrations channeled direct from the id and the ether, yet one that maps out a voyage sonically between vintage memories and future epiphanies.”These tracks are pure escapism – zoning out and not worrying about anything” reckons Tom. “I think that when playing music for a completely new project it can be really liberating since there is no expectation and no baggage associated with that you might have already released. ACUA have this overall warm melanchollic atmosphere which is always wandering between dreamyness and a certain thrilling suspence, that somehow reminds on old records by Peter Gabriel and the expressiveness of 70s progressive rock music. The album has a real signature guitar sound that turns their rough and spacey guitars from beatles attitude into overdriven lead monsters, as shown in Radio-Head-ish songs like „Days“ and „Run“. In „Do you sometimes Think Up Cheesy Things“ and „Keep Spinning“ vocals sing about crossing borders to make new experiences while being locked in your head. Days are circling „like a merry-go-round“. „If there is someone out there please grab our hands“. In those songs you will find gritty power pop Songs that remind on early MGMT songs with driven „Can“ – inspired drums. The other end of the ACUA album are the B-Sides with „Kuala“ „Illusion“ or „Diving Into Dreams“ adding an interesting ethno and art-rock vibe to it. Soul-Weaver was recorded between February and April of 2020. The album is a sharp contrast to the Taras Bulba debut. Whereas 'One' was a laid back psilocybic novelty travelogue; Soul-weaver is more guitar driven dream like psychedelia, mixing 60's garage rock, shoegaze, bucolic west coast acid folk and ambient feedback. The album builds on song structures instead of drifting instrumentals prevalent on our debut and is an indication of the path I want to go musically. Constructing the album in such a short time and under lockdown restrictions changed the way the album took shape. There were no drum sessions between myself and Jon due to the social distance rule and therefore percussion had to be constructed from drum machines or 'found' from previous sessions and cannibalised. So, in some ways this is more a solo record (Jon has never heard the songs). It is a guitar album whereas 'One' was a rhythm/percussion focused recording.

Eternal's Kelsonic Studios in Australia. The writing sessions for the self-titled were largely helmed by Miranda and Davis, with Miranda providing the riffs and Davis cementing the arrangements. While all three songs from Through Divine Rite made the jump to the self-titled album ("Trampled into the Earth," "Through Divine Rite" and "Flametongue"), the remainder of the songs were created through trial-and-error. Davis, admittedly, is a stickler for arrangements and will often create multiple versions of the same song, while Pinion added her flavor by supplying song ideas and vocal lines written on the piano. This unorthodox way of writing paid off in the end: Stygian Crown emerged with a batch of songs that each bears their own identity but are unmistakably crushing and epic. Pinion shouldered the lyric writing load, detailing myths from different cultures, namely "Devour the Dead," which is about the Egyptian goddess Ammit, while "Two Coins for the Ferryman" recalls Charon, the boatman who took the dead across the river Styx. Her vocals - one of the defining traits of Stygian Crown - work majestically between the band's boulder-sized riffs and powerful bottom-end, resonating on album opener "Up from the Depths" and "When Old Gods Die." A sterling, heaving album capable of moving heaven and earth, Stygian Crown's self-titled debut is a masterclass in songwriting and unbridled heaviness. Doomination awaits!

Для записи альбома Cream объединились с продюсером Феликсом Паппаларди. Благодаря этому решению группа стала больше двигаться в психоделическом направлении и сумела придать второму альбому более четкую тематическую линию.

В Disraeli Gears Cream отошли от чистого, импровизационного блюза, который они представляли изначально, и показали, что они на самом деле представляют собой: грозное, новаторское пауэр-трио. Их большой хит "Sunshine of Your Love" почти не попал на пластинку, потому что они просто не смогли сделать решающее вращение песни. Только когда звукорежиссер Том Дауд предложил барабанщику Джинджеру Бейкеру попробовать ритм индейских племенных песнопений, все элементы песни сложились воедино.
