The German stoner/punkrock quartet STEREOLITH presents their debut album "escape velocity". The seven songs were produced and mixed by Kurt Ebelhäuser, known from Blackmail and Scumbucket, among others, in his recording studio45. The sound of the Koblenz-based band is unfiltered, loud, dirty and feels like a wild ride in a kerosene filled boogie van through the endless deserts of California. It is an energetic mixture of grunge, punk, desert and stoner rock. In other words: fat, fuzzy guitars, rolling bass and melodic vocals mix with a lot of groove.

Records will re-release Nikki Hill’s third album entitled “Feline Roots” on April 24th, 2020 across Europe on vinyl and CD. “A fiery performer, channeling some of rock & roll’s most heralded voices, revamping the squalls, screams and shouting-at- the-devil of rock’s pentecostal roots to a blazing new take that she can rightfully call her own, a soul that owes as much to AC/DC as Aretha.” Okayplayer describes her sound. Originally independently released in 2018 on house label Deep Fryed Records, “Feline Roots” features the new lineup with Nikki Hill on vocals, Matt Hill and Laura Chavez on guitars, Nick Gaitan on upright and electric bass along with Marty Dodson on drums. Hill lets her soul rip on this new collection of songs, displaying her now well-known stance to champion for the pioneers of roots and rock n’ roll, while remaining in perpetual forward motion, inviting anyone who wants to come along for the journey. Johnny Thunders straddling guitar, Bad Brains’ rock meets reggae, Stonesy groove, Sister Rosetta Tharpe rave up rockin’ gospel power, all receive nods of recognition. Hill is unafraid of her past or experiences, and puts it out there for the sake of the song.
