All versions come with a Bonus CD Live at the BFI. Beyond the Pale is the debut album from Jarv Is...via Rough Trade Records. This is the first original music from Jarvis Cocker since the Further Complications album in 2009. Jarv Is… a band featuring Jarvis Cocker (vocals, guitar, percussion), Serafina Steer (harp, keyboards, vocals), Emma Smith (violin, guitar vocals), Andrew McKinney (bass, vocals), Jason Buckle (synthesiser and electronic treatments) and Adam Betts (drums, percussion, vocals). Jarv Is… formed to play a show at the Sigur Ros “Norður og Niður” festival in Iceland at the very end of 2017. Jarv Is… was conceived as a way of writing songs in collaboration with an audience. As the material they were playing was in a state of flux the band decided to record their live shows so that they could monitor how the songs were developing. After an appearance at the Desert Daze festival in California, Geoff Barrow (Portishead, Beak>) suggested that these recordings could be used as the basis for an album. Overdubs and vocals were added at Narcissus Studios in Neasden, London. Post-production work took place at Jason Buckle’s Place du Big Boss studio in Raynes Park, London

STUNNING 1981 SOLO CONCERT FROM THE EX-ELP MAN Multi-talented and a real musician s musician, who just happened to delight a large part of the general public too with his scintillating music, Greg Lake was born and raised in Dorset. He began to play the guitar at the age of 12 and wrote his first song, Lucky Man , at the same age. He became a full-time musician at 17, playing in several rock bands until his friend and fellow Dorset guitarist Robert Fripp invited him to join King Crimson as lead singer and bassist. They found commercial success with their influential debut album, In the Court of the Crimson King (1969). Lake left the band in 1970 and achieved significant success in the 1970s and beyond as the singer, guitarist, bassist, and producer of Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP). As a member of ELP, Lake wrote and recorded several popular songs including Lucky Man , From the Beginning and Still You Turn Me On . Greg Lake launched a solo career, beginning with his 1975 single I Believe in Father Christmas which reached number two in the UK. He went on to release three solo albums as the Greg Lake Band with guitarist Gary Moore, recorded 1981 through 1983 (two studio albums, one live album), as well as collaborating and performing with other artists and with various groups in the 1980s, had occasional ELP reunions in the 1990s and in 2010, and toured regularly as a solo artist into the 21st century. He also sponsored other artists, producing their recordings and helped them to get recording contracts. He was a fundraiser for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Sadly Greg died on 7 December 2016, of pancreatic cancer, at the age of 69. After the break up of ELP in 1979, Lake began forming a new band, later christened The Greg Lake band, and released their debut album Greg Lake in September 1981, following which the band went out on tour. On 5th November they played at London s Hammersmith Odeon and performed a stunning set of cuts from the debut record, alongside a slew of oldies from ELP, King Crimson and from Gary Moore s time working with Phil Lynott. Recorded for live FM Broadcast in both the UK and the USA by the King Biscuit network, this stunning concert is now available on CD for fans to revisit almost 40 years after the event took place.

Acting as a junction between albums "Intermediary Stage" is a sonic bridge for Punk Rock fans to traverse an irregular time. The first thing you experience upon picking up the new album is its striking cover art. Cast in yellow and black hue of a fallout shelter sign, the cover is dominated by a photo of a deserted New York City street. It was taken by Frank Perry in the early days of the Corona Virus quarantine back in March. The cover draws inspiration from 1960's Jazz albums and is meant to evoke something of a horror movie vibe. The photo not only does that, it serves as a historical snapshot of a time no one will soon forget. Beyond the visuals of "Intermediary Stage" are a number of audio gems. The album features previously unreleased covers and original songs as well as guest appearances by Earl Slick and David Johansen. It is something that should most certainly be enjoyed by audibly and visually on vinyl.

On&On is a 9-track song-cycle that confirms the London musician and visual artist as a unique creative force, pushing the art of song into expansive new territories.
