(Chk Chk Chk), the venerable New York City dance-punk band, release their newest album, Shake The Shudder on Warp Records. Recorded at the band’s home studio in Brooklyn, produced by longtime collaborator Patrick Ford at Taaffe Palace, and mixed by dance luminaries Phil Moffa, Joakim and Matt Wiggins, the album features a cast of changing singers from Lea Lea, Meah Pace, Nicole Fayu, Cameron Mesirow and Molly Schnick. The album title is a fancy way of saying “shake it off and dance your cares away.” !!!’s post punk roots mean the band will always be pushing forward to new sounds but their tastes remain grounded in some form of funk and increasingly in various electronic dance styles. The idea for the new album was born from jamming in Barcelona, and spending months afterwards cutting those recordings into loops to form new songs. Back at home in Brooklyn, lead singer Nic Offer poured over his roommate’s disco breaks. To push their boundaries, the band implemented the policy of more liberal sampling techniques as well as using whatever keyboard was available with the attitude of “there's no such thing as a bad synth," using sounds they wouldn't ordinarily use. This also includes having multi-instrumentalist Rafael Cohen’s daughter featured on their song What R U Up 2day and the use of horn on R Rated Pictures. Thematically, Shake The Shudder reflects a band that has been together for twenty years. In the band’s early days, they had the typical punk attitude, pointing fingers at everything that’s going wrong in the world to cover up for their own inner turmoil. Now the band, older and wiser, are more comfortable with being more vulnerable, looking inwards instead of reacting outwards. Sehr Kosmisch Ganz Progisch” by Weserbergland is an homage to the seventies krautrock scene seen through the eyes of Ketil Vestrum Einarsen. Ketil is a veteran flutist of the Norwegian Progrock scene, having been a part of White Willow for almost 20 years. He has also been a member of Jaga Jazzist and played on more than fifty albums, with bands like Motorpsycho and Geir Lysnes Listening Ensemble. As a composer, he has written music for 10 documentaries and one TV series (all of this together with Lars Fredrik Frøislie( Wobbler, White Willow etc) “Sehr Kosmisch Ganz Progisch” is Ketil's debut as a band leader. He has been a kraut rock enthusiast since he discovered the music through the record collection of his friend´s hippie father in the early 90s, so to take this musical turn was a very natural thing him. And it´s quite easy to hear the inspiration of bands like Tangerine Dream, Can, Cluster, Harmonia et cetera. But it´s not a retro sounding album, the sound is also influenced by Ketils former band, Jaga Jazzist and similar bands, and of course there´s a huge doses of 70s era progressive rock in there. The result is a very unique and demanding album. The simplicity of krautrock is juxtaposed or mixed with a complete sensory overload of multitracking, heavy use of effects and compositional techniques from contemporary or classical music. "3-D The Catalogue" предлагается в виде бокс-сета, включающего все восемь альбомов Kraftwerk на английском языке на восьми CD или девяти 180-граммовых LP. В него вошли альбомы "Autobahn" (1974), "Radio Activity" (1975), "Trans Europa Express" (1977), "Die Mensch-Maschine" (1978), "Computerwelt" (1981), "Techno Pop" (1986), "The Mix" (1991)(* 2 LP) и "Tour De France" (2003).

Еще одной изюминкой является комплект из четырех Blu-rays. На них представлены захватывающие трехмерные записи всех альбомов Kraftwerk и впечатляющий 236-страничный артбук в твердом переплете с новыми и ранее не публиковавшимися электронными изображениями и фотографиями.
